International transfers

Vienna is two and a half hours away, Bratislava two. If you are travelling with luggage to an onward hotel, a car is often the shorter journey once the airport queues at both ends are counted.

How it works.

  1. 01

Tell us the destination city and the address

A Vienna hotel address, an address in Bratislava old town, a Zagreb airport terminal. The quote is written against that address, not against the city.

  2. 02

Papers and vignettes are ours to arrange

Austrian and Slovenian motorway vignettes, Croatian tolls, the green card for the vehicle. None of it reaches you.

  3. 03

One driver for the whole road

The same driver takes you the whole way. No hand-over at the border, and no change of vehicle.

  4. 04

    Return or one way

One-way journeys carry the empty return leg. If you are coming back within a few days, a waiting day is frequently cheaper than two one-way runs.

Choose the car.

Quoted per journey against the destination address. Figures below are for Vienna, one direction; other cities are quoted on request.

Indicative prices, not yet confirmed. Shown in euros, per vehicle rather than per passenger, and inclusive of the driver, fuel and tolls. Full fleet specifications

What is included.

  • All foreign tolls, vignettes and border charges
  • Vehicle insurance and green card for the countries crossed
  • Comfort stop roughly every two hours
  • Luggage handling at both ends
  • A driver who speaks English and German

Worth knowing.

  • Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia are all inside Schengen and are driven without a border stop. Serbia and Ukraine are not, and those crossings can add an hour or more.
  • You are responsible for your own visa and travel documents. We will say which countries the route passes through when we quote.
  • EU driving-hours rules cap a single driver at nine hours at the wheel. Prague and Belgrade are quoted with that in mind.
