Give us the address
Not the town: the hotel or the house. Lakeside addresses at Balaton are scattered along thirty kilometres of shore, and the difference matters to the price and to the driver.

We quote the road, both ways
A transfer to Hévíz means the car drives back empty, and the quote says so plainly rather than hiding the return leg in a round number.

Stops on the way are normal
A lunch at Veszprém on the way to the lake, or a cellar at Villány on the way to Pécs. Tell us when you book and the stop is in the price rather than on the meter.

The driver waits, or comes back
For a day at a spa town, waiting is often cheaper than two one-way transfers. We will say which of the two works out cheaper for you.

A base fare covering the first 30 km, then a rate for each kilometre beyond it. Return legs are quoted at the same rate.

Worth knowing.
- Journeys over about eight hours of driving need a second driver under EU rules. We will tell you when that applies before you book.
- Between November and March the mountain roads to Eger and the Bükk can require a later start. The driver decides, and you are told.
